It’s single origin – 100% Organic Arabica from small farms in Nicaragua, Lifeboost only produce single origin options – to avoid any cross contamination, low acidity, shade grown to full maturity before being sun dried and then gently washed with spring water before roasting – their main roasts are certified organic but are still tests to ensure that only the cleanest beans make the cut. Optimist Light Roast
The lightest roast. Light roasts are a more acidic, brighter roasted of coffee that really lets you taste the original flavour of the beans and Lifeboost Optimist Light Roast is no different. As it’s Lifeboost it is low acidity generally – so don’t let the ‘more acidic’ out you off. It’s all comparative. If you’re after the most caffeine bang for your buck, the Light Roast is roasted ust long enough to heat up the beans without damaging most of the caffeine molecules too you’ll get a little extra kick in each cup.
Medium Roast
As you’d expect from a ‘medium’, Lifeboost Medium Roast is somewhere in between the Light and Dark roasts – it’s got the trademark low acidity and smooth taste that we expect from Lifeboost Coffee, with hints of cocoa and somewhat of a woody flavour. It’s a perfect, well-rounded cup – ideal for your morning brew.
Embolden Dark Roast
The Lifeboost Embolden Dark Roast takes what you love from the light and medium roasts, and amplifies it – it’s got a rich, full bodied flavour and brings a smokier and sweeter flavour than the less roasted options. It’s also got a much more noticeable after taste without losing any of the smoothness we’ve come to expect from Lifeboost Coffee.
